About the Artists and Artisans:

Akassiyah
Maya Chartier is a Franco-Yukon visual artist and muralist who splits her time between Whitehorse and Haines Junction. Also a wildlife technician in the Arctic, she draws her main inspiration from science: rare plants, northern animals, celestial bodies, and ecosystems. Her works in watercolor, ink, and gouache illustrate her spiritual connection to nature and the interconnection between living beings. When she’s not painting, she explores the mountains by hiking or skiing with her dog, Oslo.

Artisanat Cathe Dsj
Catherine Desjardins offers planters, keychains, decorations, sun catchers, and much more, all entirely handmade in cotton macramé!

Chef Sandra
Originally from Europe, Chef Sandra discovered the power of flavors early in her family kitchens. Trained in French and European culinary traditions, she developed a refined, personal cuisine rooted in taste memories. With over 20 years of experience in Europe, she moved to the Yukon and, together with her partner Steve Berger-Husson, founded Cork & Fork, a unique outdoor restaurant at the Caribou RV Park. There, she passionately reinvents classic dishes, combining local products with European influences. Her cuisine is heartfelt and memory-driven, with every dish telling a story.

Créations TMB (Léon and Nellie TM Borlase)
Léon, 12 years old, makes reusable gift bags from fabrics, cotton flannel, and cotton. This idea came to him in 2020 as a way to reduce paper waste during the holiday season.
Nellie, 9 years old, is always in creative mode. This year, she offers rainbow-colored beaded earrings and friendship bracelets.
The children will donate 15% of their sales profits to the Whitehorse Food Bank.

Délices belges
What better way to face the winter than a warm Liège waffle or a speculoos cookie to accompany a hot drink? Bertrand and Sophie, both Belgian, invite you to discover these two delicious specialties from their country.

Kluane Knits
Kluane Knits is a small knitting company dedicated to keeping you warm during the coldest winters. Founded from years of practice and a true passion for craftsmanship, Vincent Ménard offers a variety of handmade knit creations. There is nothing more comforting than giving a handmade toque or pair of socks to keep your loved ones warm.

Macani Arte
Macani Arte is a project by Catherine Bolduc-Gagnon, born in Argentina, exploring various artistic and craft ideas by combining energy stones with techniques learned around the world. The project quickly traveled from Buenos Aires to the Yukon, where new inspirations arose, carried by the northern wind and a search for warmth. From this journey emerged a collection of artistic jewelry made from healing stones, metals, and macramé, as well as beautiful notebooks with wooden covers.

Moka Moka
Moka Moka is a small sewing business founded in Whitehorse in 2023. Her creator, Maurine Forlin, handmakes fanny packs, handbags, and small unique accessories, blending colors, softness, and upcycled fabrics. Each piece has its own personality, born from care, character, and a touch of unpredictability.

Nomadic Harvests
Angelune Drouin and Jalfred Deichsel are the creators of Nomadic Harvests, an apothecary and medicinal herb farm located in the Wheaton River Valley in Mount Lorne. They offer forest walks, fermentation workshops, and herbalism classes, and sell body care products along with their medicinal herbs.

Papery Moose
Aurore Favier is a multidisciplinary artist who loves exploring a variety of worlds and mediums. Under her artist name Papery Moose, she brings together all her creative adventures, blending imagination and reality through illustration, papier-mâché, and upcycling. Sometimes engaged with themes like ecology, women’s rights, mental health, or animal welfare, she draws inspiration from nature, fantasy, and children’s literature. Through her art, she aims to convey poetic messages, infused with humor and gentleness.

Pat's Healing Art
Patrik Poirier creates his products from remedies he first made for himself, then decided to share with others. Everything he makes is crafted with passion, inspired by his own creativity and by what the earth and nature have to offer.

Rohard Wood and Toys
Steve Rohard has been making wooden toys for several years. Initially created for his own children, he soon wanted to share them with a wider audience, and now offers them at holiday markets. All his toys are made from untreated wood and finished with natural, safe oils.
